Rubies

Rubies are members of the corundum mineral family available in Pinkish Red, Purplish Red and pure Red. They are red because of the presence of the mineral chromium in corundum. Red rubies are lustrous and come in sparkling stones. Rubies related to passion, power, strength and desire as red is the color of blood. This intense color encompasses extremes emotions ranging from love and anger.

It is the birthstone for July and governed by the planet Sun. This Gem of planet Sun improves the basic constituents of the wearer. It strengthens the skeleton system and improves the RBC production in the bone marrow.
